Participants: Ferryport Fiddlers
Ferryport Fiddlers were formed in 2000 to give Tayport-based fiddlers a chance to play folk music together. Starting with eight members, they have grown to be a group of more than twenty, with an age range of 8 to infinity.
They meet once a month to practise, and perform anywhere people ask them. Their geographical base is now north-east Fife, but they still play only folk music, mostly Scottish. At present, as well as fiddles, the group includes guitar, mandolin, flute, whistle, drum and double bass.
