Participants: Don Paterson

Don Paterson was born in Dundee in 1963.† He has published six collections of poetry, Nil Nil (1993), Godís Gift to Women (1997), winner of both the T. S. Eliot Prize and the Geoffrey Faber Memorial Prize, The Eyes (1999), Landing Light (2003), which won both the T. S. Eliot Prize and the Whitbread Prize for Poetry, Orpheus (2006), a version of Rilkeís Die Sonette an Orpheus, and Rain (2009), winner of the Forward Prize.† Don is the poetry editor for Picador Macmillan, an accomplished jazz guitarist, and a lecturer in Creative Writing at the University of St Andrews.† He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature, and was awarded the OBE in 2008.
