Participants: Dry Island Buffalo Jump

Dry Island Buffalo Jump, who describe themselves as “the hairy bovine monsters of Alt-Country/Folk Rock”, are a band made up of academics who teach various subjects, from Anglo-Saxon poetry to French linguistics, at the University of St Andrews.  The band who play regularly around Fife made headlines earlier this year across the UK when they offered their latest recording, Credit Crunch Song, for download at a minimum of £1 a time, with all the income going to a scholarship fund set to benefit underprivileged students by endowing them with scholarships funded by the proceeds.  More details at the link:
