Interactive EventsThe festival has a strong commitment to offering opportunities for audience members to work with participating poets experienced in teaching the skills of creative writing. Workshops are open to a maximum of 16 persons who will have the opportunity to work directly with a poet while the StAnza Masterclass is also open to the general public to both listen and participate. The festival also includes Poetry Breakfast panel discussions, Open Mic Sessions and other events where those attending can get involved in lively debate, perform their own poetry, join poets in exploring the environment or browse selected poetry publications. For the more outgoing, the popular StAnza Slam seeks and finds the winner of the coveted annual Slampionship title.
