Carry Akroyd

Carry Akroyd’s landscapes are influenced by her interest in geology, history, botany, wildlife, and the poet John Clare. She is a member of the Society of Wildlife Artists, and has exhibited widely. Her publications include the edited collection, Wildlife in Printmaking (2011), the prose book of natures powers & spells: Landscape Change, John Clare and Me (2009), and The Wood is Sweet (2006) – a selection of Clare’s poems published by The John Clare Society, for which she supplied over 50 linocuts.
