Chris Emery lives in Cromer with his wife and children. He is a director of Salt, an independent literary press, and he has published four collections of poetry – The Cutting Room (Barque Press, 2000), Dr. Mephisto (Arc, 2002), Radio Nostalgia (Arc, 2006) and The Departure (Salt, 2012) – a writer’s guide and edited editions of Emily Brontë, Keats and Rossetti. His work has also been widely published in magazines and anthologised, including in Identity Parade: New British and Irish Poets (Bloodaxe, 2010). He is a contributor to The Cambridge Companion to Creative Writing, edited by David Morley and Philip Neilsen
