Gabriel Rosenstock is a poet, author/translator of over 160 books, mostly in Irish (Gaelic). Worked in Irish-language educational publishing and took early retirement to write full time. Taught haiku at the Schule für Dichtung in Vienna. Awards include Tamgha-I-Kidmat medal for services to literature: stage plays, plays for radio and television, novels, short stories, essays, criticism, children’s books, travel literature. Represented in Best European Fiction 2012 (Dalkey Archive Press, USA). Début volume of poems in English Uttering Her Name (2009) and debut novel in English My Head is Missing (2012).
