Robbie Schneider

Robbie Schneider is a professional letter carver based near Crieff in Scotland . Most of his work is made to commission but he also produces work for exhibition. Having trained in sculpture, he went on to study letter drawing, carving and design extensively. His work includes many public and private commissions in stone, wood and metal and his work is to be found from Shetland to Kent . Significant recent work includes a thirty meter long inscription in sandstone running along Dysart High Street in Fife, fourteen carved and inscribed stones for Kirkcaldy High Street, ‘Journey', an inscribed slate pillar for the Memorial Arts Charity ‘Art and Memory' collection, now permanently sited at Canterbury Cathedral, and a commemorative stone for the Wren Church of St Edmund the King and Martyr in the City of London. Robbie Schneider is an elected member of Letter Exchange and a full member of the Scottish Lettercutters Association.
